The invention disclosed a method for controlling pomegranate root knot [nematode diseases]. which comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing a pesticide liquid with the ratio of pesticide and water of 1:1000 by 2.0% of abamectin latex, secondly, digging holes around the trunk at a distance of 50-100cm from the trunk at the tree stump of a perennial pomegranate tree suffered from pomegranate root knot nematode diseases, wherein the diameter of the hole is 3-5cm and the depth is 25-35cm; and finally, filling the pesticide liquid in the holes and then earthing up, and filling 220-280ml of pesticide liquid into each pomegranate tree. The method has more than 80% of control efficiency of the pomegranate root knot nematode diseases, not only saves manpower, but also fully brings the yield increasing potential of grown trees into play.
